Turnstyle Club creates independent apparel for fans who want something you can't find at the book store. I focus on creating unique designs inspired by the traditions, rivalries, humor, and identity of College Football.

Now I want you to think of just one word to describe this sport. 

Unpredictable? Fun? Wild? 

I'm sure you've thought of a good word to describe it but I can guarantee the word boring didn't come to mind.

Sports merchandise feels more boring than ever these days. The same logos, the same designs, the same phrases, printed over and over and over again. Turnstyle was established to create apparel that matches the unpredicatable, fun, and wild game that is College Football. 

Shirts & hats are the bread and butter of this company. Who doesn't love a good shirt you can wear year round? And of course you'll need a hat to protect you during those brutal September games (or to hide that receding hairline, like mine :D). Every shirt & hat is created  with unique designs to help you stand out from the crowd that wears the same old same old. 

Founder Story

So a little bit about the guy typing all this out. You more than likely know me from yapping about uniforms on TikTok or Instagram (or YouTube if you're a OG club member). 

The passion for College Football runs in my blood. My Dad grew up going to games with his Dad at the LA Coliseum and that tradition was eventually passed down to me by the time I could walk & talk. 

I'm fortunate to have grown up during the BCS era when TV networks began to heavily invest in wire to wire coverage of the sport. Being a west coast kid I'd start my Saturdays at 6 am to watch the start of College Gameday (#dedication) and would finish my day by catching the end of the Hawaii game, which usually ended around midnight (thanks mom for letting me stay up). 

That exposure is what made me fall in love with the game. 

During my time in college I started reselling sportswear on eBay and Mercari as a means of supporting myself. I flipped anything sport related: jerseys, hats, jackets, shirts, hell I even sold sports cards for a little while. What started as a little side hustle eventually turned into a full time gig. 

While it was a ton of fun, I found myself wanting to actually create something thats built from scratch on not resold. The thought eventually crossed my mind. Instead of flipping apparel... what if I made my own?

Thats when The Turnstyle Club was born.
